Atlanta, IN. December 20, 2012 - Kevin, Linda, Michael and Jared Baird are four very busy people, but they wouldn't have it any other way. On their family farm in Scottsburg, IN, they grow over 20 different kinds of pumpkins, 350 acres of row crops, and more than 2,000 mums - as well as having an agritourism business that includes a corn maze, farm tours, petting farm, wagon rides, an old country store, and much more.

Atlanta, Indiana - As farmers across the Midwest continue to experience record temperatures and lack of rainfall, one question still remains. Will there be an adequate supply of corn and soybean seed for the 2013 planting season? With winter production, seed currently in cold storage and this year's production, Beck's Hybrids is confident they will be able to supply customers with their 2013 seed needs.

Atlanta, Indiana - Beck's Hybrids is pleased to announce a site purchase in Henderson, Ky. The 150-acre property is Beck's first permanent location in Kentucky. Plans for the new property include building a distribution center, conducting Practical Farm Research (PFR)® studies, operating the southern Choice Trials program, as well as providing farmers with educational and agronomic support.

Atlanta, Indiana - For the second year in a row, Beck's Hybrids is pleased to announce the We Care for Orphans Adoption Fund Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes will kick off at the 2012 Indianapolis 500, where event goers will have the opportunity to win a 2012 Limited Edition Supercharged Camaro Panther by SLP. But it doesn't stop there, the winner will receive the number one car out of only 100 Panther's being produced.

Atlanta, Indiana - Beck's Hybrids is pleased to announce a land purchase near London, Ohio. Located east of  Farm Science Review, along I-70 and U.S. 40, the new property is Beck's first permanent location in Ohio.

Today, Beck's Hybrids is pleased to announce the winner of the We Care for Orphans Adoption Fund Sweepstakes is Greg Lundquist from Wabash, Ind.

The Choice Trials program will allow Beck's to provide growers with more products tailored for their specific growing conditions.

Atlanta, Indiana - Beck's Hybrids is pleased to announce the 2011 Beck 300 Challenge top five participants. There were 144 Challenges completed from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan and Kentucky. Excessive rain during planting, extreme heat in the summer, and then a late harvest challenged many growers' efforts to reach 300 bushels this year.
